Our curriculum is aligned with the Sunshine State Standards. Instruction is objective based and tied to the OCPS benchmarks. Activities are then matched to the objectives. Next, assessments are aligned to measure student learning of specific objectives.

Mr. Medley
My name is Mr. Medley and I am an Instructional Coach at the great Carver Middle School. This is my 15th year in Orange County. I spent my first 9 years at Ocoee Middle School as a science and math teacher, and a basketball and track coach. After I got my Master's in Educational Leadership from Stetson, I took a position as the Math Coach at Oak Ridge High School for three years. I then took a position as a Senior Administrator for the School Transformation Office of Orange County. This is when I was stationed at Carver Middle School, where I have remained for the past three years in varying roles. I also sponsor the clubs FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) and Rubik's Cube Club.
